Some years back, Arko Exterior Architecture was a landscape design and hard landscape construction company in Christchurch. We specialised in sustainable hard landscape products that had life spans from 50 years to 100 years. The driving force behind longer life span products was to lessen the impact on our environment and to give our clients good value so they don’t wear the big cost of replacing worn and broken down landscape products. 

Through my experience there I discovered a natural ability towards a love of plants. Coupled with my bonsai background, it has inspired me to make a shift to specimen tree pruning, garden transformation and strategic garden maintenance. 

At Arko we had a 3 year maintenance plan for every job. Part of that plan was cleaning and resealing all hard landscape surfaces which prevented any deterioration of the surface from general wear and tear and from weather and traffic. This gave our clients a long-lasting beautiful outdoor environment. 

Arko Exterior Architecture worked on a many high profile jobs over the years giving us the knowledge. experience and reputation of being leaders in the industry. We won numerous awards over the years such as Silver Distinction for Design, Supreme Construction Award at the Ellerslie International Flower Show, Bronze Award for Spatial Design at the New Zealand Best Awards, and also a Bronze Award for Branding and Marketing at the New Zealand Best Awards. 

We are really excited about about our new approach and focus with Arko Landscape Transformation, with our core business on landscape transformation and garden maintenance.
